Help raise money for Bethel Life School by eating at CiCi's Pizza!

Once a month, CiCi's Pizza will hold a "Bethel Life Day" at their restaurants located at 3109 S. Seneca (31st Street South & Seneca), and at 8320 W. Central (between Tyler and Ridge Road). You are free to go to either location anytime from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. When you go to the register to order your meals, mention that you are with Bethel Life. The clerk will ask you to put your cash register receipt in the "Bethel Box" located near the register. She will also ask you to write your student's name on the class tally sheet located near the register. Each class has their own space for signatures. At the end of the evening, the manager will tally the class sheets at both locations and the class that has the most participation will win a pizza and cinnamon roll snack party, donated by CiCi's. The manager will also tally the receipts in the box and Bethel Life School will get 10% of the total sales before tax. Our proceeds will go to Bethel's PTF. You can invite friends, neighbors, and relatives, and you can ask them to put their receipts in the Bethel Box. If you'd prefer to order your meal "to go", just put your receipt in the Bethel Box and sign your student(s) name(s) to the class tally sheet before you leave. For those of you that like to plan ahead, the Bethel Life CiCi's nights for the remainder of the school year are as follows:

Inclement weather plan for All Star Sellers Day at All Star Adventures

Dear Parents,

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, our Entertainment Book representative, Jeanne Johnston, has given me the following instructions to pass along to you. Our All Star Sellers Day at All Star Adventures (East) will be held on Saturday, October 10th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In the event that it is raining on Saturday, the plan is to proceed with the activities that will be held inside the pavilion (free popcorn, pop, and snow cones, top seller awards, and the drawing for door prizes). If the rain prevents individuals from riding the outside rides, All Star Adventures will issue vouchers at that time to those in attendance for them to return to ride the outside rides on a future date. Please note that the free food, free drinks, awards and drawings will ONLY take place on Saturday, Oct. 10th. If you choose not to attend at all on Saturday, and wish to obtain a voucher to ride the rides on a future date, you will need to contact Jeanne Johnston via email at jjohnston@entertainment.com NO LATER THAN 9:00 A.M. ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10TH. She will ensure that you receive a voucher for a three hour session of unlimited rides on a future date. Entertainment Book sale to kick off soon!

Our Entertainment Book sale will kick off on Wednesday, August 19th, and run until Wednesday, September 2nd. We have a unique opportunity this year, and need your help. Dick's Sporting Goods in Towne West Square is allowing Bethel Life School to set up a table at their mall entrance and sell Entertainment Books on a cash-and-carry basis. The dates for the mall sale are Saturday, August 23, Sunday, August 24, Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31. We will need several students and adult chaperones to take shifts at the table. Students will get individual credit for any books they sell at our table to help them achieve their prize goals. If you are interested in helping with this sale, please contact Tiffany Spencer at 522-7148. Our school earns $10.00 per book sold, and this is a great opportunity to increase our sales this year!

Bethel's CiCi's Pizza nights

Thank you for your continued support of our school through the CiCi's Pizza nights. They have been profitable not only monetarily, but also in the fellowship it provides for our school family. The CiCi's Pizza night dates for the remainder of the school year are; Thursday, February 12, Thursday, March 5, Thursday April 9, and Thursday, May 14. Congratulations to Mrs. Myers' 4th grade class, which won the pizza party for the most participation for the month of December, and to Mr. Smith's 5th grade class which won for the month of January. Who will win for the month of February? Join us at either the west or south location on February 12 to help your class take the prize!

CiCi's Bethel Life School night date change

Please note that the Bethel Life School night at CiCi's Pizza has been changed for the month of December. It was originally scheduled for Thursday, December 11th, but has been changed to Monday, December 15, 2008. If you have never attended a Bethel Life night at CiCi's, you are missing out on a great time! The two locations are at 31st and Seneca, and on West Central. You can go to either location any time from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. There will be a Bethel Life School container near the register, and you will want to leave your receipt in it. At the end of the night, the receipts are totaled, and our school receives 10% of the total sales before tax. Several families have even invited extended family, neighbors and friends to join them. Your student can sign his/her name on the class list sheet, and the class with the most students in attendance that night wins a free pizza and cinnamon roll party from CiCi's! Ms. Bishop's class and Mrs. Sylvester's class have already won. Who will win for the month of December??? Join us at CiCi's on Monday, December 15 for a great meal and fellowship with other Bethel families. Thank you for participating in this FUNdraiser!!!

How will you use YOUR Walmart and Sam's Club gift cards?

A big Thank You to those of you that have already purchased Walmart and Sam's Club gift cards! One family bought two $50.00 cards from Shannon and used them to purchase a new DVD player for themselves. One family will use them to purchase holiday baking supplies at Sam's. One family will use theirs to purchase prescriptions at Walmart. Others purchase several each week to do weekly grocery shopping at Walmart. You can buy gasoline at Sam's, purchase tires, get your oil changed, use them for photo developing, you name it! You can also purchase them to use as gifts. Christmas designs are available. $50.00 gift cards can be purchased from Shannon in the office, scanned at the register to pay for your purchases, and 10% of each card comes back to Bethel Life School. That's right! You do your regular shopping, and your school makes money from Walmart and Sam's! It's really that simple! If you don't spend the full $50.00 on your first trip, remaining balances can be used during your next trip. Consider purchasing a few to do your "day after Thanksgiving" Christmas shopping! Sally Foster and Cookie Dough Fundraiser

Thank you for your efforts toward another successful fundraiser for Bethel Life School! Your students should have received their orders on Wednesday, November 19. If you are still waiting to deliver merchandise that is on back order, those items should arrive at the school via UPS in the next few weeks, and will be distributed to the students to take home. Please keep your copy of the order form to aid you in delivering those products at that time. We apologize for any inconvenience these back orders may have caused. Remember that our school continues to earn 50% profit on every purchase made on SallyFoster.com until January 15, 2009. Just enter our account number, 310138 at checkout! Those students that sold 12 items or more, as well as the top selling class, attended a banana split party on Friday, November 21. The top selling student enjoyed a limo ride for himself and 6 friends to Nu-Way restaurant. Whether you sold 1 item or 101 items, we want you to know how much we appreciate you. Every dollar earned goes to help our school, and we are thankful for any part you have in helping us to achieve our fundraising goals. Each child that turned their packet in on time received a coupon for a free ice cream cone from Spangles. We hope you enjoy them. Thank you again!

Sally Foster and Cookie Dough fundraiser information

Just a reminder that our Sally Foster and Cookie Dough fundraiser packets are due to be turned in on Thursday, October 16, 2008. In addition to the cumulative prize package offered by the Sally Foster company, students are also eligible to win the following: The top seller will win a limo ride to lunch for themselves and 6 friends. The top selling class will win a Banana Split Party, and each student that sells 12 or more items (Sally Foster and Cookie Dough combined) will be invited to attend a Banana Split Party. Each student that turns their packet in on Thursday, October 16 will win a special prize. Those students competing for the prizes need to have their packets turned in by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. You may return your packet to your child's teacher, to Shannon in the office, or to latchkey personnel. The estimated delivery date for these products is November 19. Thank you so much to all the students and their families for their wonderful support of Bethel Life School. You are awesome!

The kickoff for Entertainment Books starts August 21st and runs through September 6th. The cost of the books are $20 and our account number for online sales is #310138. The school gets 50% profit on all sales to help provide funds for the school needs we have listed on this site. All checks should be made to BLS and the following are incentives for top sellers:

Top Seller: One month FREE Tuition
Top Selling Class: Pizza Luncheon and movie in afternoon
Sell 3 or more books: Dunk Mr. Sould or be dunked in dunking booth
Sell 10 or more books: Limo Ride during school hours.
